All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.
You can choose to be worried and troubled or you can choose to trust God and be happy. The way to a happy heart begins in giving thanks to God in every situation. You can always find something to be thankful for even if you have to look a little harder. Be grateful for the little things that God can use to fill your heart with joy.
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Worrying doesn’t change a thing and it sure doesn’t add any benefit to your life. Instead of worrying start serving. Spend time helping those in need and you’ll have less time to spend worrying. Focus on helping others and God will make sure you are taken of.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
If our hope is anchored in Jesus, when we go through storms we can be confident that we will remain connected, safe, and secure. Whatever storm we face we can trust that Jesus will never leave us and our hope is never misplaced.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
I invite you to experience the infinite goodness of the Lord. He is perfect in every way, the author of all good things, everything about him is good and he loves you. Turn to him, put your hope in him, and let your trust be in him alone. He is the only one that can fill your heart with peace.

The Israelites were stuck wandering the desert for 40 years because of their disobedience and unbelief in God. If you feel stuck and you’re wandering aimlessly without a purpose, it’s time for you to start putting your trust in God and start believing in his promises so you can get off the mountain and move forward into the promises God has for your life.
She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”
God sees you. He knows your heart and your hurt. You are not alone. He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Trust God. Give him your brokenness and allow him to heal your heart and lead you to restoration.
