Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
Every believer at one time or another has doubts about their purpose in life. As long as you still have some faith God will work with what you have. It’s not about your power or your strength, it’s about having faith in the power of Christ. When you feel doubt and fear creeping in ask God to help you overcome your unbelief and increase your faith.
But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.
We all have times when we feel discouraged and we feel like giving up. If the Lord has put a “work” in your heart he will make a way for you to do it. That doesn’t mean it won’t be hard, because it might be, but that’s okay because God is on your side. Be strong and don’t give up!
The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.”
The Israelites were stuck wandering the desert for 40 years because of their disobedience and unbelief in God. If you feel stuck and you’re wandering through life aimlessly and without a purpose, it’s time for you to start putting your trust in God and start believing in His promises so you can “get off the mountain” and move forward towards the plans God has for your life.
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise
Live your life conscientious and on purpose. Jesus is your example of how to live a righteous and honorable life. Be diligent and wise in the choices you make always keeping your eyes on the Lord. Ask God to give you wisdom and He will gladly give it to you.
Strength and honor are her clothing; she is confident about the future.
A virtuous woman of God carries herself with strength and honor in her attitude and her behavior. She is in control of her actions and does everything with purpose and uprightness. She is respected for more than her outward appearance, she is respected for her godliness and holiness. She is confident because she knows God is in control of her future.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
This is one of my favorite verse in the Bible because it reminds me that no matter what the devil tries to use to harm me God can turn it around and it use it for good. God can use your past to help others and even your deepest pain can be used to set your calling in motion.
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Keep doing what the Lord has called you to do and do it with all of your heart. God will equip you and strengthen you to accomplish your purpose. The Lord sees everything you do and he won’t forget the love you demonstrate to his people, nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.
