All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
Reading the Bible as part of your prayer can lead to enlightenment. God speaks to us in many ways including His written Word. He may open your eyes to something new when a passage you’ve read before suddenly becomes clear and impacts you like never before.
The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
Prayer is not only about us talking to God, we must also actively listen for God to speak to us. We may not hear an audible voice like Samuel did but if we listen with our heart we will become sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Spend time with God by simply being still. Listen with your heart and learn to recognize God’s voice.
God already knows your needs before you ask but He still wants to hear your request and see you exercise your faith. If you need something you should go directly to the source. Take it to God in prayer, be bold and confident with your personal petitions. Pray with the right motives and be persistent. If your prayers are not answered immediately keep praying, keep asking and keep believing.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
If you are at a crossroad in your life and not sure which path to take listen to the Holy Spirit, who will guide you onto the right path. Humbly and earnestly seek guidance through prayer and the Word of God, which will never lead you in the wrong direction.
Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.
As a wife, mother and grandmother I do my best to take care of my family as much as is possible. There are some things that are out of my control and for me they are impossible, those, I leave to God. Through prayer, supplication and faith I put my trust in the Lord Almighty who deals in making the impossible possible. Do the possible and trust God for the impossible.
This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
Bearing much fruit comes with spiritual maturity. When you devote yourself to God and His will, the more this fruit is evident in your life. And when you aren’t connected to the life giving vine, you stop bearing fruit. Stay connected to God with daily prayer, reading His Word and by being thankful.
