But the wisdom that comes from heaven is pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
Spiritual wisdom comes from God and it gives you the ability to live a life that is obedient to Him no matter what trials you face. Consistently seek God’s wisdom by reading the Bible and through prayer and you will begin to see the changes in yourself and in your life.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
How encouraging to know we serve a God who hears our prayers. Through His love and mercy God promises that when we call on Him and pray to Him, He will listen. Whatever the answer may be, we can be assured that God hears our prayers and know that He will answer them in his own time and way.
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
We are fighting a spiritual battle every day and we never know what the new day will bring. We always need to be vigilant, on guard, standing firm in our beliefs, being brave and courageous each day. Start each day with prayer asking God to give you courage and strength to face whatever comes your way today and every day.
We all need God in our lives, but how do you “draw near to God”? You draw near to him through prayer, praise and worship. You need to take the first step by inviting him into your life and start to experience his goodness for yourself.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
I urge you to experience the infinite goodness of the Lord. He is perfect in every way, the author of all good things, everything about him is good and he loves you. Turn to him, put your hope in him, and put your trust in him alone. He is the only one that can fill your heart with peace. You will never know what it’s like to have a relationship with the Lord until you make an effort to really experience Him for yourself through prayer and reading the Word of God.
Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
We all have needed or will need comfort and compassion at some point or another. The world attempts to keep you content but the only place to find real comfort and compassion is in the Lord. Pour out your heart in prayer and the Lord will give you the comfort and compassion you long for.
