If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Unconfessed sin can be a stumbling block that keeps us from getting closer to God. The Bible says, The Lord is far from the wicked but He hears the prayers of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29) When you pray, confess your sins to God and because He is merciful, He will forgive you. Don’t let your unconfessed sin destroy your fellowship with God.
your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
If you don’t know how or what to pray, pray for God’s will to be done in your life. Don’t be intimidated by long, loud or eloquent prayers. Prayer doesn’t have to be full of big, fancy words it just has to be from your heart. Have a sincere conversation with God and pray knowing and believing that He hears you.
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
Make sure you take care of your body, but don’t forget to also take care of your soul, good health starts from the inside. Do things that make you smile and bring you joy. Do volunteer work, it not only helps others, it makes you feel happy too. Forgive, let go of anger and hurt so you can move forward. But the most important thing you can do for your soul is to spend time with God.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
One of the ways to build your relationship with God is to spend time with Him in prayer. Dedicate time each and every day to talk with the Lord and to listen to what He has to say to you. Praise Him for all that He is and thank Him for His love and mercy.
Verse of the Day: Luke 6:32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.
It’s easy to love someone who loves you and is good to you. The challenge then is to love the unlovable, those who have been forgotten by society. Start seeing them the way God sees them, love them, do good for them and pray for them.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Everyone deals with stress now and then and some people deal with it on a regular basis. Meditating on God’s Word and praying help us to deal with external stressors. We also have to do our part in taking care of our bodies. We need to practice a healthy lifestyle, eat right, and exercise. Give your worries over to God, put your trust and confidence in Him and let the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, bring his peace into your life.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
You know that God can speak to you through his word when you read the Bible, when you hear a sermon, and when you pray. But he can also speak to you through other believers, through music, even social media. God can speak to you in so many ways if you would only surround yourself with the things of God and put yourself in a position to be receptive.
