You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
We have been chosen and adopted by God as His own children. His unshakable power lives in us and His Word is written on our hearts as we experience His truth. We have the victory over evil through Christ Jesus by faith.
One night the Lord spoke to Paul, “Do not be afraid, keep on speaking, do not be silent.
We live in a society where everyone wants to give their opinion on anything and everything. As believers in Christ we must be courageous and willing to stand up for what we believe in too, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Don’t be afraid to share Jesus with the world, just tell them what God has done for you.
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
My deepest wish and desire is that I may know Him better. With every day, week, month, and year that passes my hope is that I may gain wisdom and revelation that brings me closer to Him. I want more of you, God, less of me and more of you, God.
Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the East and have come to worship Him.
The long awaited sign that the Savior had been born finally appeared in the night sky. They magi knew that the King of the Jews had been born and the prophecy fulfilled. (A star will rise from Jacob; a scepter will emerge from Israel. Numbers 24:17) The message of the star is the good news that Jesus Christ the Messiah has come to pay for our sins so that we might have our relationship with God restored.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
God is good and every gift from him is good and perfect. Think about all good in your life, your job, your home, your family, and know it’s all a gift from God. Think about the spiritual gifts you’ve been given, they too are a gift from God. Now think about the greatest gift of all, the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, they all come from our heavenly Father. As we go through this holiday season let’s not forget what it’s really about and remember to be grateful for all the gifts from above.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Christmas is a great opportunity to start teaching children about Jesus. You can find ways to teach them the story of how and why Jesus was born and the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. For example, you can read stories from the Bible or children’s books appropriate for their level of understanding, you can sing Christmas carols and talk about their origins, or you can use a nativity scene and other decorations, like a star to explain what they represent. Make the most of this occasion to share Jesus with your family.
always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am truly thankful for everything God has done for me and the plans He has for my future. I am thankful for everything He has blessed me with, it’s more than I deserve. I’m thankful for my salvation and for the relationship I have with my Savior. Above all else, I’m thankful for God’s love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness. I give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart.
