Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
God wants you to run the race he planned and designed specifically for you, not anyone else’s race. Ask God for the strength and courage to get rid of anything that comes between you and him. Keep your eyes focused on God, seek his will for your life and don’t give up.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
There are so many people that need help right now and will continue to need our help in the future. If you are blessed to be in a position to help those in need I’m sure they would be grateful for whatever you can do. The Lord sees all that you do and never forgets the work you do or the love you show him by helping his people. You will be rewarded in heaven and for all eternity.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Bible, which is the Word of God, isn’t some old irrelevant book of stories. It is alive and active today and forever more. If you begin to read God’s word, I promise, it will begin to change your life. Whatever you are going through the answer is in God’s word.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
If our hope is anchored in Jesus, when we go through storms we can be confident that we will remain connected, safe, and secure. Whatever storm we face we can trust that Jesus will never leave us and our hope is never misplaced.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
As God’s children we need to hold on to the hope of God’s promises knowing that he is faithful. God never changes his mind, he never forgets, and his Word is true. Even when it feels like he has forgotten us, have faith and remember his timing is never late.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
My love for God and gratitude for his mercy and goodness inspires me to share his love with others. Let’s motivate each other and encourage acts of love and service for those in need so that our heavenly Father would be glorified. We need to do something, help somebody, invite someone, if not us, then who will?
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
We all have days when we wake up and feel like we just can’t face the day. Don’t let that overwhelming feeling discourage you. Take a deep breath, remind yourself that you are a daughter of the king and straighten your crown. Come boldly to the throne of God to lay your burdens at his feet and receive mercy for today.
