I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
We can be assured that God honors and fulfills His promises. We can rely on God’s faithfulness which has been founded in heaven. Our hope and confidence in Him lies in His faithfulness because His Word is true and trustworthy forever and ever.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
As God’s children we need to hold on to the hope of God’s promises knowing that He is faithful. God never changes His mind, He never forgets and His Word is true. Even when it feels like He may have forgotten us, have faith and remember His timing is never late.
For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
Every word, every promise, everything He does is right and true. We can have confidence and believe it all because He is faithful. God is good and never changes, we can rely on this truth. He is deserving of all praise for His truth, faithfulness and mercy.
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
When times are tough, when you are struggling, or when things in your life seem stagnant, don’t give up and don’t lose your confidence in God. Wait without giving up, you only fail if you quit, do what God asks of you, finish your race strong, and you will receive what He has promised.
God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.
The Bible tells us that God cannot lie. His promises and oaths are unchangeable. We can believe and be confident that if God has made a promise we can count on it and not only can we count on it, we can live our lives by it.
Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
There is a two-step process to receive this promise. The Lord will take care of all your needs but you need to trust in Him and do good. Notice it says “and” do good, not “or” do good. While you are waiting and trusting on God to fulfill his promise, do good.
