Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth
Many would consider being meek as being weak. When they hear the word meek they automatically imagine someone who allows people to walk all over them, someone who is subservient. But the kind of meekness the Bible talks about is different. It’s being so strong that you are in control of your emotions and actions. Don’t confuse meekness for weakness. To be meek is to be: submissive to God, obedient, patient and peaceful.
Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.
Hope is confidence in God’s love. Hope is the expectation of a future with God. Hope is the optimism you have in knowing that no matter what may come God will get you through it. Hope is the anticipation of drawing closer to God. Hope is the assurance you have in knowing that with God all things are possible. Hope is a blessing from God.
The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.
Fathers, you are responsible for teaching your children about the Lord. Be a spiritual leader by living a life of integrity. Show your children love, discipline when necessary and have compassion on them. Children, obey, respect and honor your father as the Lord commands. Fathers and children, remember that no one is perfect, forgive each other and try to live in peace.
Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.
As a wife, mother and grandmother I do my best to take care of my family as much as is possible. There are some things that are out of my control and for me they are impossible, those, I leave to God. Through prayer, supplication and faith I put my trust in the Lord Almighty who deals in making the impossible possible. Do the possible and trust God for the impossible.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Wake up with praise on your lips, focused on God. Start your day right and receive the blessings the Lord has in store for you today. Each day is loaded with blessings of joy, peace, mercy, grace and salvation!
He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
It’s not enough just to hear the Word of God, you must obey it. Let the Word of God settle into your heart, mind and soul. Love the Word, study the Word, hear the Word, obey the Word and it will be a blessing and a light unto your path.
I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and he will bless you according to your faith. If you want to receive your blessing you have to trust and believe that the Lord is able to fill your cup, and not just fill your cup but overflow it with blessings. Open wide and receive your blessing!
