This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
If you’re reading this, it means God woke you up this morning and you have another day to praise and glorify God. Each day is a precious gift from God and you should make the most of it. Rejoice, be thankful, be kind and be open to new opportunities to be blessed and to be a blessing to others.
A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
Be kind and generous to others because God has been kind and generous to you. When you’re generous to the poor God will always make sure you are taken care of. Trust in God’s promises and help those in need.
Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.
Embrace life, be kind, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. Keep your tongue from speaking foul, obscene, or unwholesome words. Don’t lie or say hurtful things to anyone. Instead, speak blessings, be a blessing and you will receive a blessing. A forgiven heart is a changed heart, filled with gratitude and love. Avoid negativity by speaking positivity into your life.
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
There is enough negativity in the world today, instead of spreading more speak words of encouragement. God has called us to encourage each other daily. Don’t let sin harden your heart, instead be kind to one another. You never know what someone may be going through and a kind word may help them get through the day.
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry
‘Tis the season to be jolly. Even though it’s the most wonderful time of the year everyone is busy, stressed out, in a hurry, and not always as polite as they can be. As Christians, let’s try to set an example of how to treat others. Let’s be patient, kind and slow to anger and remember, Jesus is the reason for the season.
