He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
If you feeling like things are falling apart, put God first in your life. Everything else will fall into place and will be held together by his power not yours. Start your day by spending time with God in prayer.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Do you ever feel so tired, you just don’t have the energy or motivation to do anything and so you do the least amount possible just to get by? Are you mentally, emotionally, and physically wiped out? God will give you rest; he will refresh your spirit if you come to him and lay your burdens at his feet.
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
As we celebrate and enjoy our freedom this Memorial Day let’s take a moment to think about the real meaning and pay our respects to those who fought and gave their lives in the line of military duty. Let’s honor these heroes by praying that we too would love and respect our fellow Americans.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
If you are at a crossroad in your life and not sure which path to take listen to the Holy Spirit, who will guide you onto the right path. Humbly and earnestly seek guidance through prayer and the Word of God, which will never lead you in the wrong direction.
When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”
Jesus already knows your condition and he is calling you because he has compassion for you. If you need healing come to Jesus, he can heal your mind, body, and soul. He can set you free from whatever chains are holding you down.
When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
Sometimes we get too set on having to know the answers. Faith is not about having the answers; it’s about knowing the one who has the answers. Having a relationship with God is what’s important. Just knowing that you can call to him and he will hear you is more important than the actual answer.
More of Jesus, less of us in all things. In our lives, in our relationships, in our families, in our churches, in our work place, in our schools, in our communities, in this world – We need more of JESUS!
